The website
TutorLatin is a comprehensive platform designed to aid individuals in learning or teaching the Latin language by providing them with cutting-edge tools and resources. Utilizing the platform and its resources is completely free and does not require sharing any personal information.
The aim of the project is to make it easier for anyone to learn or teach the Latin language.
The author
My name is Damianus de Caballariis. I develop various tools in the hope of making life easier for Latinists, which I generally publish on this site.
If you want to contact me, you can use the contact form in the menu.
The resources
The site is designed as a directory of resources to help Latin learners and teachers. These resources range from modules created by the community to exercises generated according to your activity, as well as tools to assist reading and composition, and a Latin audio generator.
Note that I am not the author of all the resources available in the directory, since anyone can publish modules.
The resources are divided into six levels of difficulty (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2) and into various categories according to module type. Playlists bring together several modules and are used to facilitate navigation through the directory.
Access to resources is free of charge. Please note that some resources and features require you to create an account in order to access them. Of course, since creating an account simply involves entering a username, you can create a new one each time you log on and access these resources (but you'll lose your progress).
On that last point, because I realize it's often misunderstood (and probably poorly explained), an account is a local save file. "Local" is important here, since the file is not saved anywhere but on your device. To keep it, you need to download it (which happens automatically when you sign out).
